Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah is famous for its striking red rock formations, hoodoos, and incredible views. The park offers a range of hikes, from easy walks to more challenging trails.

For easy hikes, the Rim Trail (1 mile) offers stunning views of the Bryce Amphitheater, and the Mossy Cave Trail (0.8 miles) leads to a waterfall and mossy overhang, perfect for families. For moderate hikes, the Navajo Loop Trail (1.5 miles) descends into the amphitheater, showcasing formations like Wall Street and Thor’s Hammer. The Queen’s Garden Trail (1.8 miles) offers close-up views of hoodoos, while the Navajo Loop & Queen’s Garden combination (3 miles) provides the best of both trails.

For a more strenuous experience, the Peekaboo Loop Trail (5.5 miles) takes you deeper into the amphitheater with fewer crowds, while the Fairyland Loop Trail (8 miles) offers expansive views of hoodoos and rock formations. The Under-the-Rim Trail (up to 23 miles one way) is a challenging backcountry hike, perfect for experienced hikers seeking solitude and dramatic scenery.

When hiking in Bryce Canyon, be sure to stay hydrated due to the high altitude, wear sun protection, and plan for cooler temperatures, especially in the mornings and evenings. Some backcountry hikes require permits.
